Our Fields are Resting

Our first season is over.

The peonies are underground, we’re putting the fields to bed and taking stock of our first season.

Massive thanks to everyone who took a Peony Share, left an e-transfer at the farmstand, or carried Friday Flowers home from Creemore. We learned a great deal. Most of it in the field, some of it the hard way.

In the backgound, the work carries on quietly. New peony roots are going in, along with narcissus, and a native, cutting hedgerow. We’ve expanded our beds and will be scouring seed catalogues and day dreaming for the next few months.

We'll share the 2027 season early in the new year: dahlia tubers in spring, peonies in June, Friday Flowers through the summer, the farmstand, and a few gatherings in the field as the season turns.
