It's all grown on the farm and foraged from the fields, hedgerows, and woodland edges around it. Cultivated blooms alongside native grasses, flowering branches, and wild plants that belong to this specific piece of the Niagara Escarpment. Forsythia. Wild apple blossoms. Lilacs. Chokecherry. Each Friday we cut what's ready, peonies, dahlias, zinnias, whatever is at its best and forage what the farm's edges and surrounding landscape have to offer. Flowering branches, wild grasses, native blooms. The foraged material changes week to week and follows what the land is actually doing: wild bergamot in July, goldenrod and ironweed as summer turns, seedheads and branches as the season winds down. Everything is field-conditioned before it reaches you, so it arrives ready to open, not already spent.

From July 24 through September 11, the farm is at its most extravagant — and every Friday, it's yours. Pick up one hand-gathered bunch of 10–12 stems, cut at their absolute peak and different every week as new varieties tumble into bloom and give way to the next.

The soft purple haze of anise hyssop and wild bergamot. Echinacea, black cohosh, rudbeckia, vervain, common boneset, white wild indigo, yarrow, zinnias, and dahlias in every shade. Sunflowers that stop you mid-step. Native wildflowers, grasses and shrubs to give it all movement and breath.

No two weeks are the same. That's the whole point.
